About Bowen Family Farm

We are first generation farmers that started out with a couple of pigs and a few laying hens in 2016. Since then we have grown to raising almost 30 pigs per year and thousands of pasture raised non-GMO chickens. In 2025 we obtained our "Poultry Exempt" license through the State of Georgia which allows us to process up to 20,000 chickens of our own raising per year. We offer our products online and in our licensed for retail farm store. We believe that convenience is the key to connecting our community to local food! Since beginning our journey, we have seen other businesses lie about what they are offering and use deceiving labeling and marketing tactics to trick consumers into thinking that the product they are purchasing is any different than what they are getting from the big grocery store chains. We have known people that have been blocked for asking health food stores basic questions like "are your chickens raised in confinement." We don't play those games here! We only carry TRULY LOCAL products in our store. Everything we have is either raised/made by us or within 60 miles of our farm. We can answer all of your questions about everything that we carry in our store and will do so honestly.
